This of course is not a common experience for most, but with a little understanding everyday stress can be transformed into vitality for living.
Change your Perspective
Stress is not just some nebulous force we find as part of our life, but it is an active pressure on us. Keep in mind, all pressure is not destructive pressure, such as the pressure which refines a chunk of coal into a diamond. Change your perspective to life, and the challenges you face and watch the stress melt away and transform into vigor.
Change your Motive
As you go to work each day and are challenged by stressful situations what is your motive for being there? Much of the stress that is experienced on a day-to-day basis is caused by inappropriate motives. Changing your motives and center them on doing good. Doing so will effectively transform your stress into constructive rather then destructive energy.
Change your Attitude
When most people are confronted with stressful situations they tend to react negatively and this creates resistance and tension. An attitude of acceptance however, creates a much different situational dynamic. Change your Words
It is a shame many people don’t understand the impact their words have on themselves or others. Life and death are in the tongue – now that’s a lot of power. Have you taken a look at the words that come out of your mouth during stressful situations? Now may be time to pay closer attention to your words and speak those words that will bring blessings, not stress, into your life.
