Feel the Fear and do it anyway 2

Opportunities to feel fear are everywhere. The opportunities to display courage are also everywhere. If you feel strongly about a polarizing moral issue, do you lose your convictions when they are in danger of being exposed and argued in social situations? Where’s your courage when it counts? Sweeping fears under the rug limits our ability to stand up for anything to anyone.

Understand this, if the fear of defending your convictions forces you to hide them, you will appear to have none! Political candidates who give “no comment” when asked to take a stand cause us to trust them even less than if we knew and disagreed with their views. Convictions are often hidden to avoid being judged for unpopular opinions. Popularity is fickle, but the courage to build a foundation based on your beliefs is crucial to achieving your goals.
