Feel the Fear, and Do It Anyway!

feal the fear

Kittens trapped in a burning building, a child wandering into the path of a bus, even chasing down a knife-wielding purse thief; bring it on! Wouldn’t it be great if our imagined acts of courageous heroism were broadcast nightly? Courage works differently in real life. It is constantly challenged by our words and deeds. True  courage is being honest, generous, compassionate, diligent, pious, and all those wonderful things we enjoy doing when it’s extremely convenient.

“Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point,”

– C.S. Lewis.
